I'm not sure why I thought Pod Racer has weapons. Total brain fart!  💨

I recently got the deal of the century. My manager at work sold me his Switch for £70 ($90ish maybe). Couldnt turn it down. And just ordered my first switch game. Mario Kart

Horizon is basically a Top Gear sequel. So fun!
Where’s GRID Autosport? That game is my favorite game for the Switch!

Does anyone know if there's any open world racing games in the style of the crew, need for speed carbon, or burnout paradise?

Nice looking games, I took a look in the sale and everything is still overpriced. Can't see myself buying anything on the switch digitally, the store is the worst of any I've known for getting a bargain.

Since I'm 90% sure you've made some purchases you regret on Eshop like many of us, I think it would be a nice change of pace for you to talk about a handful to a dozen digital purchases you regret. With Nintendo's unnecessary promise of 30 games on the eshop per week, I'm sure you've been scammed at least a couple of times? Keep up the awesome work. I'm gonna pick up overlanders if it's on sale!

@MetalJesusRocks When I watched this video a week ago I added Overlanders to my Steam wishlist and it just went on sale today (Thu 2/27/2020) from $25 to $2.50. If you see this comment MJR, please pin my comment or whatever to let more of your followers know.

true arcade racers are fun on the switch, but stuff like Gear Club Unlimited 1 & 2 and Grid Autosport that attempt at least a semi-simulation feel, don't bother buying them if you expect anything like a realistic feel playing with your normal switch controller options. You absolutely NEED the Game Cube adapter and controller for these two titles in particular (not sure if GCU 1& 2 support gamecube controller but Grid DEFINITELY does). Why? Because the L&R2 triggers on the switch are NOT analog. It's either 100% or 0% throttle and brake. Because of that, it makes the old school button tapping method return which trust me. As someone who's played a LOT of racing games both arcade and sim over the last 25 years, it's totally counter-intuitive… GREAT GAMES, but you'll need the proper controller if realism (I.E. the feel of modern forza and gran turismo games) is something you're looking for…

Gear Club: So much potential for this game. It's like the need for speed for the switch. The best aspect of this game is customization. But upgrading and customizing is what ruined this game. This game is not generous when it comes to rewards and money-hungry when it comes to upgrades. Imagine just putting a sticker would cost three times the cost of your car??!!! Where's the joy in that? I'd rather buy a new car than upgrade my car, which would cost less. But mind you, there's still grind to this game just to buy a new car. Maybe I should be a sticker seller in this game than a racer, I'd probably earn more.

MetalJesusRocks Did you ever try Meow Motors? Once I got used to the loose feeling drift, I liked adventure mode and played it to completion. Adventure mode has a decent amount of challenge. Not too hard, or too easy. Took 10 hrs to complete. I paid $12-15, and didn't regret it. (and of course, I liked. Subscribed a year ago )

Jesus, you're throwing your money away on mediocre games. Riptide, really? I played, it was soo boring and cried like "I'm a cheap indie game"
And I can't take serious, that this Nickelodeon game is more than a 6 year old kids game.
Grip is way better on other systems.
The only one I'm a bit interested in is Gear Club, but this is still so expensive and I bet it's not near as good as a Forza game

Now all we need is an "all stars" cart racing game featuring lost and forgotten 8/16-bit characters: Bonk, Chuck Rock, Awesome Possum, Sparkster, Cool Spot, Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, Kid Chameleon, Pocky & Rocky, Aero the Acrobat, Joe & Mac, Uncle Fester, Chuck D. Head (from DecapAttack), Chakan, and…wait for it…James Pond?! 😀

I can't recommend GRIP on Switch. If someone has an Xbox or PS4, get it there. The Switch version is very weak.
