Asphalt 9 Legends – Glitches – Custom paint / rims / carbon on any car glitch – Nintendo Switch

A bug in Asphalt 9 Legends on Nintendo Switch in version 1.7.6a and has been around for the last few months that allows you to apply carbon fiber body parts and custom paint work to cars where those options are not yet available to the player.

All you need is at least one car where such options are open to you, and a club to get access to the area of the UI where you create a club race.

Many thanks again to Lupin III in The Grand Tour for letting me know about this and hopefully Gameloft don’t correct it any time soon.

As of the latest patch… Kings of the Fall, this still worked fine for me applying my gold colour scheme from the H2 Speed onto my freshly unlocked Italdesign Zerouno, so don't think it's been fixed just if it doesn't work with one donor car try it with another!

Thanks for sharing this! Didn't seem to work for me on the GTR Nismo. Is there a different donor car that needs to be used for that one?

Hopefully GL never catch this video. The trick with the body is look at the car you want to paint and see what options are available to mod the body. Find a donor car with the same named parts. Chiron has carbon hood and wing only, so don't use DS E-Tense as it has hood and trunk and would only copy the hood. Also if a car is too mismatched you might get an exclamation over one of the mod sections and the only way to clear it is reset it to factory colors and do another copy job. If you do this with a convertible, use a convertible for the donor car and it'll also copy over if you have the top down or not. Lastly, on the donor car you only have to select it, you don't need to go into the paint/mod area at all only the car you want to paint needs to be in the mod options… just back out all the way back out and you should be good to go.
