This is my favorite Bioshock game. I loved playing as a Big Daddy and utilizing the powerful weapons. The Little Sister defense was also really fun when you're in a room full of traps. Although the story and message probably wasn't as good as the first game, the gameplay is way better in my opinion.

I cannot physically put into words how much I freaking adored Bioshock 2. The combat, the weapons, the new enemies, the Little Sister system and Big Sister battles, the feels trip of a story, and finally Minerva's Den. Good god, just…I wish 2 had a NG+ so I could go through and get all the upgrades for the weapons and Plasmids.

My only gripe for 2 is that you never got to play as a Lancer in Minerva's Den, but the Plasma Laser and Gravity Well Plasmid were REALLY fucking cool!

I really loved this game and was one of the few games I bothered to multiplay with others. That being said the tech support was a shitshow and when the map pack DLC was released it fragmented the community as only if everyone had the DLC could anyone play it. For achievement completionists this was a nightmare as some of them were tied to the DLC. Shoutout to Rybow who was like one of the best players I got team up or go against at the time.

Inferior to Bioshock (my 2nd favorite game onlu lost to Ocarina Of Time) but a damn worthy sequel, intense, fun and above all furthered the narrative well.

I think the only problem I have
If this is the same rapture that took place 10 years ago and Bioshock 2 takes place somewhere around Rapture. Or
After the events of the first game where jack left, someone else discovered it and brought many people we know and Sofia Lamb took that opportunity to become a leader.

I loved bio shock 2 because it gives you the ability to play as a creature you had to fight in the first game giving you a different perspective. It also felt badass mowing down splicers with a drill protecting a little sister. It also gave you more moments to prove your morality when it came down to dealing with character you could either kill or let live. And then the love story between a father and daughter who aren't related by blood showed how far someone could go for love. I think it was a perfect continuation to the first Bioshock. As for bio shock infinite I prefer to pretend like it doesn't exist

Gameplay-wise, I prefer BioShock 2. Definitely. I don't understand the common hatred for it.

1 had better individual moments. I don't think anything will beat the big reveal followed by the death/murder scene that struck a nerve quite solidly. 2 had better gameplay. Infinite had a more interesting story but only barely better than 2. I would be interested in seeing where they went with Infinite but, alas, that ship missed the lighthouse and will likely never be seen again.

Man can you do Balor from Hellboy 2 the golden army. I know he's based on Balor the one eyed Giant (one armed elf king in hellboy) King. But you could reference both, even though balor wasn't a good guy at all. I wish in Hellboy though he had the powers of his eye which destroyed anything he looked upon. Plus Prince nauda was killed by balor in the Irish mythical cycle (which also wasn't his son was a rival king) but lugh, balor's grandson killed him before he could open his "terrible piercing" eye. But he was the leader of a race of mythical creatures called the femorians which are described as crawling from the sea and underground some giant. I loved that bit I hellboy where John hurt reads the story because my dad done the same with Irish mythology, amoung was Balor the one eyed king and the Tuatha Dé Danann (the "good" god Kings) battles.

Bioshock 2 gave me the feels from start to finish, the fact that Eleanor would be influenced by your actions made the relationship between them feel even more realistic.
Overall excelent narrative and very good gameplay!

Bio shock 2 was my favorite among the series. I loved playing as a big daddy and I enjoyed having the little sisters look up to me like I’m the best thing in all of rapture. I did one “dark” play through and it broke my heart how fearful of they they would become.

Hey Niyal, had a request. Can you do an "Explored/Explained" video on Equilibrium staring Christian Bale? I think you'd like the movie if you haven't seen it yet. Just an idea for ya. Love your channel.

Do not let this distract you from the fact that this man made a cummunity post supporting people going out in mass during a pendemic while burning buildings while very cringly claiming it was "RiGhtiOuS jUsTIcE" and then took it down when he noticed his fanbase does not support domestic terrorists.
I am proud of this fanbase.
