Ive beaten this game on hard mode. Nomamura i think may not even call it part too opting for a subtitle similar to advent children or crisis core. ( crisis children if you will)

Cid is not in the game.

Red xiii is there but in a very lame uncontrollable way he will attack in battles on his own and only is in the final 3 chapters of the game and doesnt make it into the final fight vs whisper bahamut and sephiroth

You get 4 playable characters aerith cloud tifa and barret. The combat system feels alot like kingdom hearts but with a team you can swap control over the main characters like in ff15.

There are totally new characters roche. Kyrrie marielle marle the leaf house Johnny ottes even madam m chocobo sam andrea leslie and more.

Alot of them are forgotten as you play with the main characters reno and rude and heidegger being perfect examples of enhances characters development

This game shines fine with its story.

I warn people the first play through your time in combat will be a nightmare unless youve played games like FF13 that had the stagger bar

I’m much more excited since you said it’s coming to PC. I’ll have to wait a year to get time on the PS4 from my kids anyway;)

"Cid is less abusive to his wife."

Well that's stupid. Part of his character is being a frustrated asshole.

So will we have to pay 60 dollars for each part?

I wonder if they're going to change the date mechanics. I'd like to see it left up to player choice whether Cloud prefers Aerith or Tifa. (Or Yuffie, or is secretly gay for Barret). And then have that impact the rest of the story. Like, if you pick Aerith, you might find yourself with the 'sadness' status…for a long time, or even the rest of the game. (He's still depressed in Advent Children after all.) His dialogue options might change to be more Advent Children style.

What is this imaginary "westernization" of Tifa this shaggy lookalike is talking about? I'm fucking lost as to what it could be.

I'm going to make a prediction and say the games can be broken up into three episodes just like the disc in the original PlayStation makes sense because of the way it's being set up

If you are not a fan of a game just don't try to review it only because it will bring your channel some more views… 'Cause TRUE fans can see when somebody is faking it! Sorry bro!

15 hours in Original Midgar? I severely doubt it… my current play through, level 37 and 13 hours in. Rocket Town….

We don't know for sure if any of the old mini games will make it in the remake?

You guys clearly haven't been paying attention.

Lol, their charging full price for 1/3 of the story. Not buying it until there's a collection.

How is he able to make all the points he mentions sound so damn negative?!

Even the positive changes he's talking about he still sounds so condescending..

If you're so inclined to dislike the Final Fantasy series, then make someone else report on it..

Cutting out the summons is the #1 reason I didn't really like XV. If they feel they were too powerful in the original FF VII there's a thousand better ways to handle it without limiting their number of uses so profusely. And if they're making this boneheaded decision, how many more will follow?
If they cut summons and turn based combat (although I'm cool with that choice) the only thing left making Final Fantasy… Final Fantasy is chocobos and the name of the items and I wouldn't be surprised to learn if the term "power fantasy" was coined in some old FFVII review. But now that's gone.

The cross dressing side quest in the original is only problematic for people who don't understand the simple fact that Cloud is gay and closeted. Seriously, go back and look at the original game.
All the hetero relationships presented in the entire game are either doomed, abusive, one sided, or toxic.
The only version of the gold saucer date where Cloud flirts with his date is Barret's date.
All their childhood flashbacks revolve around Cloud getting picked on by other kids until Tifa becomes his beard or he leaves town.
And most telling of all, the two scene variants in the whore house show exactly what Cloud likes in his Romantic encounters. The very idea of being alone with a naked woman gives him a panic attack, while 8 buff dudes in a hot tub sounds like a great time.

Seriously, man. You're way too concerned with political correctness that you can't enjoy the simple things without paranoia.

The very idea that someone should change their product to suit the minority rather than the majority is ridiculous. It goes against logic in general.
People should just not get so easily offended then the "problem" with that scene would be solved. It's for comedic purposes, but comedy has been ruined due to people being easily offended.
No one can tell a joke (or obviously make a game) anymore without running it by the PCPolice.

OKAY WIFE ABUSE IS BAD! However, I think that changing Cid's character is a mistake. I think that it would be like making a movie about Charles Manson, oh, but he's not a serial killer, because that's offensive. Look, characters in art should reflect real life. That includes flaws. That includes the worst of the worst of us. This is a game that is dark and depressing and really hits you in the feels. That treatment of Cid's wife FRANKLY helps bind that punch. Everything was the way it was to deliver a specific tone. When you change the way that tone is delivered, you change the impact of the story.
