Let’s be honest, the vita is dead and most of these games on Vita can either be played on iOS devices or on an actual console. I don’t doubt the vita has good games but the games it does have play at a terrible frame rate worse than the other devices(not that Sony cares to update it for better FPS or even make a new ps handheld)

Now if you’re talking about a nostalgic device that only has the limited games…

Im actually playing CoD multiplayer on my PsVita, so online gaming on this console is still very alive.

The Vita still puts the Switch to shame in my opinion. Yes the Switch has up to 1080p in the dock but all it can do is games and youtube. The Vita can play music and videos, take pictures and video, and it has an internet browser (which is a little dated but at least it has one). The Vita also has bluetooth and a PSP and PS1 emulator for digital games. And the homebrew scene has come a long way as well.

Is it possible to "un-hack" it? I was thinking about picking one but I don't really like to hack consoles so I was wondering if it is possible to reset the console like to factory presets or so

I was very surprised by this little console, even though I only got mine in 2018. Lots of cool indie games, Japanese JRPGs like Persona 4 and FFX, many cool dungeon crawlers, shooters, and action games, and finally a vast retro collection of virtual PSP and PS1 games, and for someone who never owned a PSP that was pretty cool. Awesome stuff. Game quality is also amazing even for a portable console TODAY, not just for 2012.

The only thing that sucked about it are the touch-based L2/R2 buttons. That was lame if you wanted to play any of the retro games that used those buttons frequently or necessitated quick reflexes. Not an issue for games designed for the Vita though.
