I was moving my buddy up to college early one summer and we hit traffic and decided we would stay the night. So the house had nothing in it but we were lucky to have electricity. No TVs but we had power. He drove the guy at RadioShack crazy trying to hook up this shit with a genesis to a game gear. Finally we did it and it was barely worth the trouble haha.
Broke: Playing a game in 1080p/4K on your flatscreen tv
Woke: Playing that same game in 160 resolution on the Gane Gear's 3.5 inch screen
I can now experience 4k gaming in 144p. A true epic gamer moment.

Sadly I missed out on the Game Gear I was A Game Boy Kid like most Kids in the 90s with that God awful Green Screen compared to Game Gear having A true Color screen.
Now a days we can watch live TV with our cell phones.

It was a magical feeling to eat my cornflakes as a kid and watch TV. I also remember watching porn in a hotel with the Game Gear, when I was supposed to sleep, I just catched the TV-signal. And always watching latenight-shows when my mother thought I sleep. 😁

Get an led screen for it and replace capacitors.
