I can't believe you did not put Kenseiden or the original Golden Axe on the list!
And i suggest you to look for the brazilian ports of Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat just for the factor.. OMG how they did it?

I love Woody Pop, but have only played it in emulation. I've heard the paddle control doesn't work with non-Japanese systems.

It was a lot more fun playing Sega at my cousins house than Nintendo at mine or anyone else's house. Master System was where it was at. The arcade ports made you feel you were at the arcade I have been a far bigger fan of every Sega console over every Nintendo console ever since.

MJ, aside from Christ my (much needed) Savior, you’re my favorite Jesus!

You put a lot of time and effort into your channel, you know what you’re talking about, and present it in a very “comfy” way! Very much appreciated! I’m a SEGA fanboy/nutcase! Thank you for keeping the information all solid, reliable and understandable! And, of course, please give my best regards to your hair!

They really need to release a mini.
Provided it has Sonic 1, Action fighter, Golden Axe Warrior and Safari Hunt, I’ll be happy. Also, they couldn’t go wrong by adding the wrestling game and the Indiana Jones game.

No, there was no Golden Axe Warrior port for the Game Gear. It's a true Master System exclusive and has never been ported to any other system either!

For me, Phantasy Star alone is worth owning the system for. My absolute favorite 8 Bit RPG. Was lightyears ahead of it's time when it came out!

Marketing for sure was the problem for the Master System. Not cus of the Box Art tho, but because nobody even knew it existed! Hell, I had not even heard of the Master System the entire time growing up, and I was a big time gamer! Hell, I even owned a Game Gear and STILL had never even heard of the Master System before, let alone that they were basically the same thing! It's crazy how little advertising the Master System had. I had never even seen one ever in any store I ever went to. No systems, no games, no nothing. Never even seen one before nor did I ever know anyone who had one.

It's a damn shame cus the games for it are great! It's an excellent system, specially if you look into some of the exclusive titles that only released in other regions. The system was far more popular overseas.

Hey man, it was probably worth mentioning that the Master System has FAR better Light Gun games than the Nintendo had. It actually has a few really good ones! Might have been worth mentioning that in the vid?

The master system 2 was my first console. Sonic the hedgehog was amazing on the master system! Ninja Gaiden had great graphics and was a good game too.

How is it that R-Type was on the Master System but NOT the Genesis??? I bought a Turbo Graphics 16 just for that game when I already had a Genesis… Road Rash was my jam on Genesis.
