I actually wanna get a PS Vita someday, there are a lot of coo, games on it and I'm sad it flopped, but I don't think it was the worst selling Playstation. I'm pretty sure that would go to the PSX.

I had an idea of a new portable

PS Travel: PS Vita, PS4 and PS5 also, psp games digitally.
    Ps5 UI like.
Black, white and black and white.
I would remove the tactil pannel and place a umd for psp there (nah that's dumb actually).
Big screen but not infinity it would look weird.

Unless Sony can top the switch with games and a better screen/ better feel for a portable then it’s going to be hard to compete

Perhaps one day electronic manufacturers will come to understand that their customers don’t want to be restricted and no matter how hard they try we will find a loophole around their tactics, for the extraordinary prices we pay we shouldn’t be so restricted right out of the box.

i was looking at ps vitas on the used market in 2016 and started looking again in 2020, and it blows my mind that prices are still this expensive. i dont think the used market price where i live has changed much at all

In 2004, I still remember how dang advanced the PSP 1000 was. It was high school and still two years before the iPhone but this thing was like somebody shrunk the PS2, threw in an iPod and gave it advanced features you just didn’t find anywhere else. It was incredible.

the dreamcast and PSP were the only consoles i can remember that truly blew my mind when they released.
the dreamcast had internet capabilities at a time when internet gaming on a console was foreign as hell… unique, and genuinely fun games, and the VMU in the controller…
then the PSP came and made gaming/media on the go so much fun. Music,Movies,Games, internet, online gaming, awesome indie and third party games, the ability to play classic PS1 games on the go,THE MODDING…. this little beast was my go to handheld when i first came out… and still is.

One helluva informative video and very laid back. It’s nice when someone doesn’t try to act all loud annoying like it’s funny. I recently bought two black OLED vitas and they’re really making me happy. Really regret selling my white AC3 vita back in highschool like a fool, but oh well. Now I’m wanting to go back even further and get the old darth vader psp (which i also had until i sold it like a dumbass). Thank you for the video man.

The psp was and still is a beautiful machine. Like most sonys products the first generation always is built the best in my opinion. Although the later ones have brighter screens but the build quality for the first psp is sturdy. I always wanted the japanese white 1000. This handheld was truly something to behold for me as a kid. Had alot of fun with it, and having an internet connection and web browsing capability made it great.

The psvita could have been so much better than the psp and the first gen of that had a awesome screen.

PSP was PlayStation 2.5 that was only for handheld I say 2.5 cause it’s almost good at PS3 but not all the way so 2.5 is good place.

I have a real question for you, how do you keep and maintain in good shape your handleds batteries ? i have like 4 PS Vitas, several PSP fat, slim go, Nintendo 3DS, XL 2DS XL… and i force myself every 2 month to fully charge every system. Is it a good idea ? I don't see any youtube video on the topic

    Thanks

Nowadays, they can't even compete with smartphone games and smartphones which has better display, graphics and battery life.
