Why You Should Buy a PS Vita in 2019

Let’s kick off 2019 right with discussing why the PS Vita is still a great buy in 2019, and why you might want to consider getting one now if you’ve been on the fence for awhile now. Trust me, it’s awesome. One time it did my homework for me. (Okay that was a lie but you get my point).

yes, if you do, get Persona 4 golden.
or get it on PC, I actually can't recommend the PC port unless you're willing to do a few mods to the game, or you've already played Golden on Vita.

Homebrew are good. You can use henkaku to use the retro arch emulator for ps1 and every console before it.

The PSP will come back when graphics reach a better level in the future, I mean the Switch at the moment has decent graphics tbh, nothing compared to home consoles, but that’s not what it’s trying to do, but I never owned a PSP purely because nothing about it to me justified the cost, with Sony’s view on graphics and how they always push the limits, I was surprised every year that the PSPs with just how close to phone graphics the consoles were…

Can you install custom firmware on a PSVita as easily as you can a psp? I got a bunch of games on my hacked psp and don't wanna lose them if I switch to a PSVita.

I completed like 6 or 7 TellTale games via Remote Play…i was mostly double dipping, and it was very easy to pop trophies like that

Oh, the days were numbered alright, not just for the PS store on Vita but for the whole console itself! Oh well, it's much better off in the hands of the community now… but still a bit sad.

How can you do a comprehensive video on why the Vita is still relevant in 2019 without discussing or mentioning the massive modding and homebrew community for this system?? All the things mentioned in this video are certainly good enough reasons to pick this system in 2020 and beyond but the modding factor takes this aged handheld to beast system status and massive bang for your buck…
