Played during beta, didn't play much after that. I still know nothing about this game and am level 13. I get called a smurfer sometimes when my aim goes nuts but that's cause I used to be a one deage prick in CS:GO and I pride myself on snappy flick headshots. The guardian is my op

Started playing 2 months ago, just got Silver yesterday! The game is super fun and is actually much deeper than it looks at the first sight. I would even go as far as saying that game is not shooter and is definitely not something like Overwatch. Valorant is all about gathering information and tricking your opponents with positioning. Who has the information wins the game. Crosshair placement, smart economy, smoke plays, good utilities and flashes – all of this is much more important than actual left-clicking on the enemies, tapping enemies if you know where they come from is technicality. I have 10 wins in a row as Cypher right now and while I'm not top in the kills screen, I love outplaying enemies with information and unexpected plays that turn the round into win. Of course, sometimes I just get outdueled with some 30 kills Reyna on enemy team, definitely there is huge room for improvement in aiming and shooting, but most of my games I win because of well executed outplays rather than just outshooting duels. I love that aspect of the Valorant.
