I love my switch OLED I started from then got the Mario edition then I ended up getting the OLED but I just love being able to take console games on the go like dying light kakarot Doom and then also having all the Nintendo exclusives like Zelda Mario and donkey Kong and Kirby Metroid

I have an old Switch, a newer Switch, a Lite, and I really, really wish I could justify an OLED. I’m really good at nonsensical justification, but I just can’t come up with anything. Help!

If anyone’s holding off because there worried the switch is going to be on its way out the Nintendo director said the switch is only in the middle of its cycle having been out for 5 years that means we have upto 5 years left of it so don’t worry about it being immediately outdated and also there’s either been speculation or that nintendo plans on having backwards compatibility on the next console so even if you do buy a switch you possibly could play your games on the next console or sell your switch and still be able to play games you bought for the switch on the next console

    A backpacker here!
I like the concept too especially for mobility but I'm afraid I'm late to the party in 2022. If Nintendo releases a new portable console I'm going to buy it.

I have Stardew on my Switch (just have a lite sadly), xbox, and computer. I also have Skyrim on xbox and switch. I have a few other games on both, but those are the ones I play the most. Oh, and .hack//G.U. Last Recode now on switch and PC! It was one of the games that got me super heavy into gaming, but I could never find the 3rd game so now I get to play it!

That “DEAD CONSOLE?” Is literally the perfect clickbait.
Makes the people wonder, or it makes them rage. Lol

I think if they added that extra 1cm, kids would have an uncomfortable experience. As an adult male with large hands I wish they would release a larger version.

I like the Switch but I don't play it much and I always play it docked. When I play it, I play those Sega Ages games. I mostly game on PC now.

Definitely not a dying console in 2022 with splatoon 3 about to release, bayonetta 3 later in the year, and Pokémon. Also advance wars remakes in Dec. All exclusive. In terms of ports, some great ones still coming too like the persona games and neir automata.

I have had my Switch since day 1. Never cared about customization, nor about it's portability (I've played around 30 hours total in 5,5 years). It's my favorite console of all time due to all the amazing games it offers. Sure, it might not have titles like Elden Ring but I hate these types of games anyway. It has Mario, Zelda, Xenoblade, Bayonetta and many more and that's enough for me.

I also have the launch version of the switch. And I really want the better battery life but holding out to see what's next and if there's backwards compatibility then I won't need to buy a second switch. 😅

I have loved the Switch since I got my first one 5 years ago. I have had three so far:

    1) Original Switch in 2017 (sold it for the Lite)
    2) Switch Lite in 2019 (I still have it)
    3) Switch OLED

The Lite and the OLED have been the 2 I have used the most but now I use the OLED exclusively. I wish the Lite got some upgrades to it in the future.

I've always been a ps and xbox gamer and never thought I'd buy a "lesser console" but i bought a switch 3 weeks ago, i bought a used V1 though, for.. reasons…. 🤫😄
And im actually really impressed with what this tiny console can do and how easy it is to not only switch between playing on the tv and handheld, but also to transport dock and everything somewhere for a weekend. Also, the way you're able to turn each joycon into it's own controller for some quick multiplayer is ingenious. I'll still play more graphically demanding games on my ps5 but it's really amazing for indie games and nintendo exclusives. I havent even touched my ps5 since i got it.

Some games like Civ6 let you use the touch screen and controllers. I use a hybrid of both while playing. If it was controller only I won't play the game on switch because the controls can be annoying.

OG switch is still the goat (unpatched of course)…being able to install android on it and playing PS2 and Gamecube games makes it the most capable version of the switch

it looks really pretty but if you live outside north America and are not getting paid in dollars, sadly it is not worthy. Where I live you can grab a series S right now for way less money, but I would love to play zelda.

I have had my switch for 2 years! I got the original because that was the only version out! I love my switch and I just got an XBOX series s. I still love my switch because it is amazing! I am a very busy college student but I love to chill in my room with a hot cup of mint tea and play my switch when I don't feel like playing my xbox. Also just being able to relax and have fun on the bus in the morning on the way to classes is great! I love my switch and I am excited for more years of fun to come!!! Graphics do not matter to me and I love my switch!

Love my switch but something I really don't like about the shop is that Nintendo are still charging full price for games like Skyrim that came out in 2011! Don't get me wrong, I love Skyrim, but if you have a PC you can pick it up on steam for like atenner or something on sale (and it's basically always on sale lol). Don't get me wrong I love SKyrim as much as the next person, and console games will always be more expensive, but it feels a biiit too much like a ripoff
