I remember years ago thinking that if I could become a gym leader, I will build my gym here next to the cave's entrance

The only safe town honoring the lavender town because it doesn't want to have a curse so it made it sound like it

I spent most of my time in the game in Verdanturf and Mauville. For some reason it must felt like home to me. Maybe its the music. Or maybe its cuz Roselia (which was my fave mon at the time) can be found around here.

It gets even sadder when you complete the game and return to the town knowing damn well there's no reason to just nothing but memories.

Can't believe how fast the time flies, I was just 6 years old when i played Pokemon Emerald. I was so carefree and happy that i could play all day long. Sometimes i wish i can go back being that old me, just for a day :')

Littleroot Town and this town, Verdanturf are the most nostalgic Pokemon music to me.

I don't have much memeories from my Sapphire playthrough. I have Littleroot Town, taking Treecko as my starter, Kyogre in my team, going through Route 113 and of course the ost. I don't remember listening to most of these osts as a kid, but my subcounscious clearly does, and I could sing along no problem. Which is what happened when playing Alpha Sapphire even I haven't touched the original Sapphire in years at that time.

Is the name of the town a sort of German-inspired? Like "Werdendorf" or something.

0:40 this tune always reminded me of the national park theme from Johto, which makes it even more special to me

When I was young I would always called out Swellow to fly me to this town and listen to the cleanest air music of this town. Then I fell alseep and the battery life of my red gameboy SP ran out. I didn't save. LOL!

After many years nothing changed, I'm still staying like 30 minutes in Verdanturf just to listen to this wonderful music. And feels are the same like years ago. Damn, it's so good to play those games again.

This music means a lot to me. This was the first Pokémon game I ever had the pleasure to enjoy as a kid. My grandpa got me a copy of emerald from a yard sale for only $5. He didn’t have much money and at the time it wasn’t the hottest game on the market. But I loved it so much and my Sceptile was the best friend I ever had. I’ll always come back to this song and think of him.

I miss the time when I just keep wondering what's beyond that game or what could be possible to happen and what mystery I can unravel through that game

But now I lost it and just completing the game without that certain feeling

0:40 It's very interesting that this part here sounds very similar to the national park theme from gsc/hgss, although now that I think about it, it could vey well be the same composer
