Hey everyone I would like to apologize for 12:51, my editor screwed up the audio and I couldn't fix it. Also, Unknown 9650 has brought to my attention that the stats don't match up for the Primitive Devourer. The stats I said are correct, please ignore the stats on screen! I hope you guys enjoyed the video regardless!

first, I'll talk about what I liked about the mod and the update, what I didn't like and some suggestions

What I liked- overall the update is pretty cool, I recognize the problem that both the infection and the parasites are too OPs and this spoils the fun of the mod (honestly my eyes are more on the parasites than the rest, but remembering that I'm just one more in a crowd, and I wouldn't care too much if the devs changed that and left just a few parasites OPs)

What i didn't like about the mod so far- how marauder and warden look like, it gives me agony, for me, those two are actually the same being/entity, only that the creators made them as separate beings for something, maybe in a future update they will bring them together as a single being, because I think it is kind of sus they not only use the creature's body but also a bit of its features in another almost identical one, i hope (not saying they has to) the developers make these two the same entity, like the warden is the berserker/mad mode of the marauder…

The suggestions (and I'm just saying that these are just suggestions, that doesn't mean i'm telling them to do this)- add new dimensions and descriptions to them, an infected giant frog, an infected plant, which turns into a carnivorous plant that is a mixture of venus flytrap, nepenthes rajah, and mowzie carnivore plant, has spikes in its "back", is fast, have a prehensile tongue, can use its roots as tentacles (and they have hands) to attack others, a boss version of crux that is larger than a normal one, will have a tail with three spikes at the end, like a fork, will have 2 legs and two arms (the front one is the largest, with the largest hands), small tentacles around its body, its body will be in a quadrupedal shape, is adaptable to damage, its back will have spikes, its mouth will have more rows of teeth, its belly is open with the ribs sample and is full of tentacles of the creature itself, hands and heads from previous victims, can be found in woodland mansions, strongholds, mineshafts and dark places in biomes such as savannas and its caves, swamps, extreme hills and in giant trees <only for description), the parasites can be found in swamps, make the warden and marauder be the same being, or just insert that flower-like mouth, make a warden boss monster, make the assimilated enderdragon have red fingers , plus a pair of hands on the belly, scythe-shaped limbs, just like the adapted version of boslter, same thing with warden, the adapted version of the devourer being giant (having a bigger and longer body, the head will look like the body of the prometheus trilobite, the rest of the body will have somewhat thick fins, and it will have a dorsal fin and yellow eyes on its entire body, which will look like one of a moray eel, lamprey, squid and a sea snake, the eyes will be the point weakness), be able to walk (it won't be slow or fast) and breathe out of water, have a venomous bite, have a mouth like the adapted boslter (and maybe be like a flower), has long tentacles in its mouth, have an inner mouth, have a long tongue full of teeth, his body stays in a horizontal when he's chasing someone in the water, he can hypnotize mobs and players and camouflage himself in the water, is adaptable to damage, can regen four hearts after 8 seconds (same with B-crux), he can spit acid on others, those pieces of live meat (the moving flesh, same with B-crux) are with him, a function in which the tentacles can pull you into the water, an animation about him devouring (after injured) the players or mobs close or in the water (same with B-crux), can be found in high areas (such as mountains) with deep water, savannas, swamps, extreme hills, caves with water, in the sea (can also be at the bottom) or in ravines (with alot of water), they leave their home when it rains (with lightning) or when there is a flood <only for description)

I love this mod the parasites really remind me of the flood from halo, starting out infecting organisms into making their own stronger pure forms

Me when another update passes and the assimilated enderman still hasn't gotten nerfed… Like seriously for being an assimilated they can teleport nearby mobs, move insanely fast, hit very hard for their class, are immune to water, attack fast, and can teleport on their own. Like, come on! personally, I think they should either entirely remove the ability for it to teleport mobs, or at least do one at a time with a cool down, make it take damage from water, reduce its speed, something as it stands it's far too oppressive for the parasite phase it starts in

This mod really seems to get inspiration from the flood from Halo. Also this seems really cool and we'll made with hard work and care.

the reason why you dont see the mobs jumping "X" amount of blocks is because they do jump "X" blocks but they need around 0.25 extra blocks to actually jump over "X" amount of blocks

Every time you cover scape and run parasites updates the comments seem to get less and less positive and more and more people notice the egregious lack of balance

Idea. If a parasite adapts to sword damage, it should take more damage to bows.

The parasites are definitely absolutely terrifying and well developed, although maybe a little too well developed. I always watch these videos about this mod wondering, so…. what do the players get? In this one, you get… the ability to craft just some of the weapons. The parasites have the ability to evolve, and they evolve a lot, but the player just gets a slightly sharper stick and not much more. I really hope they have armor or some kind of ability in mind but are still working to make them work the way they want to, otherwise, you don't really get to create your own story with this mod, just, you are hopeless and the world dies and life sucks, every time.

I'm not really a big fan of this mod. It doesn't really seem like it's meant to be played. It's just youtuber/streamer bait.

God the dragon looks so cool, the animations look amazing and she just looks so miserable, like…. I almost feel sad looking at her. Most of the other animals just get assimilated, but she honest to god looks like she's still somewhat "there" even when assimilated and something about that is especially upsetting visually. Jesus….

Btw they should add food that gives you an effect that can banish them to their own little dimension

It would be interesting to see if they implement a form of "adaptation" for normal mobs. After a certain evolution phase mobs would actively avoid the parasites and perhaps gain a chance to detect monsters with the COTH effect. Perhaps villages in response would spawn more iron golems and employ other defenses to protect themselves.

I just find it cool that this parasite can infect other creatures from other dimensions meaning like it could potentially be a dimensional threat leading to endless different forms. (Outside of minecraft)

Finally, normal balance for modpacks, earlier parasites were killed by ordinary mobs every time(mekanism, matter overdrive and other)

I would love for there to be a companion mod where you can create monstrosities to serve as sort of organic robots.

Ok, I think this update should be all the update that buffs the parasites.

I don't want a wither or warden infected parasite thank you very much.

Next updates should be all to help the player beat the corruption or give it achance to take back the world, like an end final parasite boss that once you beat it it drops a piece of armor that makes all nearby parasitic land and lower tier infection forms like sheep's, pigs, cows, zombies etc revert to their original uninfected selfs. And hostile mobs like zombies you revert become neutral for a couple minutes as a thank you before going aggressive again, that would be nice.

They should add something that lets you create your own parasite army if they don’t want to add any logical normal way of killing them.

maybe add the ability make a greater weaker potion to disable the dmg adaptation ability or idk, collect their parts and create a "disease" to weaken them and future incarnations, possibly being able to throw it, put it directly, plant it so they step over it(?, maybe make it have an area effect to attack a crowd of parasites (since the mod loves to spawn them like that), add armor that you could craft from their body parts since they are so resistant like Divine RPG
hell, you could make the final item, possibly drop by a future final boss be part of an essential crafting to make a "cure", which you could put on yourself to never ever had their debuffs or even make a Minecraftish version of the Clentaminator in Terraria used to get rid off corruption/crimson

idk man, something to actually fight back and make it feel rewarding when you win every fight, the devs are going so far with the mod but haven't do much with the player survivalbility, I understand that they keep releasing unfinished and maybe not so polished versions so we could be beta testers and send feedback but, atleast announce that version isn't playable yet but that we are free to download it if we want to

(please do not get me wrong with this, I love a good challenge, I love how this mod makes feel dred every time I play it, anxious that I'm still not prepared to fight back and that every second I'm going to be caught off guard by something, and if not, that something is going to be there, waiting, getting stronger with every second….. but if I'm already prepared, with endgame gear, manage to kill the tier 1-2 or even tier 3 mobs and not have any incentive other than a few weapons that may do a lot of damage but I'm still going to be erradicated instantly after I've done my first-second hit, why add the semi endgame and final mobs if I'm not going to be able to fight them at all?)

This mod is great, – quality animations and models, some good ideas and variety in monsters is something makes it really interesting. Will i try it? No. Because there is literally nothing to do except check them in sandbox mode. There is no good ways to survive, so you can't make a goal TO survive, because mod doesn't provide any good choices how to fight the parasites or even make safe base. So, whats the point of playing it? And developing immunity to any kind of damage its such a bullshit idea its even funny, making your world literally unplayable

Ive seen alot of people complain about the mods difficulty. While the mod is VERY difficult and punishing its as simple as adding other mods to help you in the fight against parasites. For example, Techguns a great mod that adds alot of weaponry and ways to defend yourself, also adds zombies with guns which means that they have a chance if survival.
